Kathleen Parrish is a multi disciplinary writer, visual artist, singer, and photographer based in the Pacific Northwest.
As a songwriter, Kathleen has worked across the board lending her voice and lyrics to various projects and genres. Her journalism, both music and mental health based have been featured on To Write Love on Her Arms, Hello Giggles, Sonicbids, ASCAP, The Free Woman, and more.
Her mental health advocacy and writings stem from overcoming her twelve-year-long battle with an eating disorder. A long time advocate for mental health awareness; at the age of 14 she founded a club at her high school to educate troubled teens on preventing destructive behaviors. Kathleen has organized multiple fundraisers for eating disorder awareness groups, most recently for the National Eating Disorder Association.
Kathleen lives with her fiancé and two adorable rescue cats. She is passionate about natural skincare remedies, learning to cook, cannabis, decor and design.
